Champs honoured at PAN tourney
Two winning teams were crowned at last week’s Peace Arch News Mixed Lawn Bowling Tournament, held Tuesday at Peace Arch Lawn Bowling Club.
The top women’s team at the PAN-sponsored tournament was made up of Carol Estabrook, Joan MacLean, Pat Harrison and Mira Miloica. The first-place winners on the men’s side of the event were Bill Waineright, Alex Abraham, Geoff Hayes and George Brost.
Today (Wednesday), action at the White Rock club continues, with the second day of the Seniors Triples tournament; the first day of the triples event was last Friday, and it wraps up this Friday, June 24.
