Surrey pair vie for spot on Danone Nations Cup team
A pair of young Surrey soccer players are just one step away from representing their country on the world stage.
Nicolas Apostol and Nolan Connor are among 24 hopefuls trying out for Canada’s team that will play this fall at the Danone Nations Cup in Madrid, Spain.
A final tryout camp is schedule for Aug. 14 in Toronto, where 14 players will be chosen for the final roster.
