Scorpions open soccer season

The Semiahmoo Scorpions opened their U17 Gold soccer season earlier this month, with a 3-1 loss to the West Vancouver Fusion.

Rachelle Folk potting the lone goal for the Peninsula side, scoring from what coach Bob Balneaves called “an impossible angle.”

On defence, Ally and Lauren Robertson were solid for the Scorpions, Emily Bonshor and Jaclyn Tatay played well in midfield and Sarah Strachan at forward.
