Eagles set for third straight games against Rivermen
Coming off a weekend split with the division rival Langley Rivermen, the Surrey Eagles will look to add to their win total tomorrow – and again, they’ll face the Rivermen.
“It’s a little odd to play the same team the first three games of the year, especially when we only play them seven or eight times all season,” Eagles coach Matt Erhart said.
Langley beat the Eagles last Friday, 3-2 in double-overtime, to open the BCHL season, but Surrey bounced back the next night to win 5-2.
After tomorrow’s tilt, the Eagles will host the Coquitlam Express Saturday evening at South Surrey Arena.
