South Surrey skater set for national championships

South Surrey figure skater Devon Neuls will be on the national stage this weekend when she competes at the 2012 Canadian Figure Skating Championships.

The event, held in Moncton, N.B., begins Friday. Neuls, who has trained with some of Canada’s top coaches – including Olympic coaches Scott Davis and Jeff Langdon – will compete in the senior ladies division.

The event will be broadcast on TSN at 11 a.m. Friday and streamed live on the Skate Canada website, www.skatecanada.ca
