White Rock, South Surrey and Cloverdale athletes put their track-and-field skills to the test this week in Langley, competing May 15 and 17 at Fraser Valley Track and Field Championships, which were hosted by the Langley Mustangs Track Club at McLeod Athletic Park.

While the event was a qualifier for B.C. High School Track and Field Championships for junior and senior students, the two-day meet was also a BC Games qualifier for those in Grade 8 and 9. The BC Games will be held in Surrey in July.
