The wheeling continues and Jason Garrison is heading back to Florida.

The Vancouver Canucks traded the White Rock, B.C. product after just two years in the Lower Mainland, sending the former Panther to the Tampa Bay Lightning just hours before the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.

In return, the Canucks receive the 50th overall pick in tonight's draft.

In the trade, Tampa also receives the rights to Jeff Costello and Vancouver's seventh round pick in 2015.

Garrison played two full seasons in Vancouver after signing with the Canucks in 2012. He has four years left on his deal with an annual cap hit of $4.6 million.

Last year, Garrison had seven goals and 33 points in 81 games played.
