A royal farewell for Ferguson

Tracycakes on Marine Drive is hosting a high tea fundraiser and farewell for White Rock's outgoing mayor.

A fundraiser and farewell organized in honour of outgoing White Rock Mayor Catherine Ferguson is set for Dec. 3 at Tracycakes’ Bakery Cafe on Marine Drive.

The high tea event, to take place from 2-4 p.m. at 15015 Marine Dr., is an opportunity to meet the outgoing mayor and “find out where you’ll be seeing her next,” organizers say.

Ten dollars from each $25 ticket will benefit the White Rock South Surrey Hospice Society.

To reserve, call 604-541-4668.
