Two Peninsula businesses will be teaming up to host an Alzheimer’s Action Day on Sept. 19.
The Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy, 122-1959 152 St., and Comfort Keepers White Rock, 14-1480 Foster St., will host the “purple power” themed day in honour of Alzheimer’s month in September.
The community is asked to wear purple and stop by either locations from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to enjoy free cookies and coffee, and to donate to advance the care and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Society.
