Peninsula business owners strapped on their helmets and hopped on their ‘hogs’ for the 10th anniversary Boardroom Ride benefiting White Rock South Surrey Hospice Society’s Good Grief camps for bereaving children
More than $10,000 was raised for the camps at the Sept. 20 ride which donated 100 per cent of the funds raised to the society.
The ride also brought awareness to a mostly unknown group of deserving children who are often referred to as the “forgotten grievers,” according to a news release.
