Golf fundraiser brings in $45,000

Funds from golf classic benefiting Canuck Place Children's Hospice

Last month’s HomeLife Charity Golf Classic – the 12th annual – was held last month at Surrey’s Northview Golf and Country Club, and raised $45,000 for Canuck Place Children’s Hospice.

Money raised from the event, held May 24, will be combined with funds raised at the upcoming Ride 4 Hope, a 200-km cycling trek from Hope to Morgan Crossing in South Surrey.

The ride is schedule for July 10, and features many Canuck alumni among the riders.

Canuck Place Children’s Hospice provides specialized pediatric palliative care for children living with life-threatening illnesses and support for their families
