Sunnyside Greenhouses opened its doors to the public May 23, as part of a BC Veggie Day promotion organized and sponsored by the BC Greenhouse Growers' Association.
Facilities in Abbotsford, Aldergrove and Surrey participated, offering tours to the public.
The open houses were touted as an opportunity for the public to see how so much can be produced from so little, and for so long.
