In support of Cancer Month, Choices markets and Vancouver integrated cancer-care centre InspireHealth are hosting a month-long health and wellness promotion and fundraiser.
InspireHealth in April is being held at all eight Choices Markets – including the South Surrey location – to raise awareness of the role nutrition plays in the prevention and treatment of cancer.
This month, Choices shoppers are encouraged to pick up “Inspired Choices,” a selection of natural foods and supplements recommended by the InspireHealth doctors and nutritionist.
On Inspired Saturday April 9, people can taste samples and pick up a “grocery checklist” that features recommended foods, supplements and health tips. In addition, InspireHealth’s medical doctors will present a cancer-prevention seminar series April 14 at 7 p.m. at the South Surrey store, 3248 King George Blvd.
