A seasonal sale of pumpkins will provide financial assistance to the Peace Arch hospital foundation and 13 counterparts across B.C.
Until Oct. 31, one dollar from the sale of every BC pumpkin sold at all 28 Thrifty Foods locations will be donated to the hospital foundations throughout the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island and Saltspring Island.
Since 2008, store customers and staff have helped raise over $144,000 for hospital foundations in all Island and Lower Mainland communities served by the chain of grocery stores.
