A Peninsula realtor will host his annual charity salmon barbecue Aug. 24-25 to raise money for BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.
Glen Seymour will be at Semiahmoo Park from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on both days.
The family-friendly day will have a bouncy castle for kids, as well as door prizes and live music on Saturday starting at 4 p.m.
On Sunday, the grilling will coincide with the Blues by the Sea Festival – which begins at noon – providing entertainment alongside the Pacific wild sockeye salmon.
Last year, Seymour’s event raised $5,130 for the Veronika Children Leukemia Foundation.
