Portrait Homes' Panorama Woods is one of the developments that has won the Grimm brothers the award for Home Building Persons of the Year.

Portrait Homes’ Grimm brothers win CHBA BC award

Rob and Harry Grimm are this year's recipients of the Home Building Persons of the Year award.

The Canadian Home Builders’ Association of BC and BC Homes magazine has awarded this year’s Home Building Persons of the Year prize to Rob and Harry Grimm of Portrait Homes Ltd.

“We are humbled to receive this award,” says Rob. “This honour really is for our whole team. It’s not just for us as individuals; without our team none of this is possible.”

The brothers, principals at Portrait, note that customer service is always their top priority.

“Do it right, treat people with respect, stand behind your work and have fun,” says Harry. “It’s our reputation that’s on the line. We want to stand behind our work, not because our warranty says we will, but because it is the right thing to do.”

Portrait is currently selling Panorama Woods in Surrey and Hampstead at Silver Ridge in Maple Ridge. Both projects have been hugely popular, and the Grimms hope to continue that trend in the future.

“We exist to make homeownership – a major life experience – joyful, easy, memorable and fun,” says Harry. “That life-changing experience is something we take very seriously.”
