Organics Connection Cafe to host Raw Food Festival

Forget about oil and butter.

Organic Connections Cafe, 15622 Marine Dr., will be hosting a Raw Food Festival Oct. 25 showcasing the benefits of eating a diet of uncooked, unprocessed and organic foods.

The event will feature a presentation by RawBC director Clive Langton, who will speak on how incorporating raw meals can help create a more “alkaline diet.”

According to the release, a raw food diet can lead to more energy, better sleep, mental clarity and weight loss, among other benefits.

The festival is an all-day event with dinner being offered at 6 p.m. for $20.

Langton’s presentation begins shortly after at 6:30 p.m.

Call 778-294-8885 to book reservations for dinner.
