Realtors Monica Skrypnyk and Randy Friesen will host Realty Reality on CHEK TV this month.

Two local realtors from the "Randy Friesen Team" of (Royal LePage Brent Roberts Realty) are the host and hostess of two episodes of a made-in-BC Reality Show this month.

Randy Friesen and Monica Skrypnyk will host Realty Reality on March 7 and 28.

The show offers a fun yet educational approach to real estate, illustrating issues often overlooked by prospective home buyers and giving the viewers a sneak-peak into unique homes in specific areas around the province.

The first episode which will feature North Delta's Sunshine Hills area will air on Saturday March 7, 2015 at 6:30 pm on CHEK TV.

The second episode featuring South Surrey will air on Saturday, March 28 at 6:30 p.m. on the same channel.

Each episode is focused on a unique area and with chosen real estate professionals.

This is the first time Realty Reality is showcasing a team of realtors, instead of an individual realtor.

Friesen and Skrypnyk, the “Randy Friesen Team," specialize in residential, new construction and investment real estate in the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley and have for more than 35 years of experience in real estate.

"It was a great feeling to be chosen to represent the real estate market on Realty Reality," said Friesen. "South Surrey and Delta are very popular locations and they both have so much to offer.

"Monica and I loved showing our clients all of the properties, but what we really love is to share our years of expertise with them by being able to point out pros and cons to each property and helping guide them towards finding them their dream home. “

In the upcoming half-hour episodes, the Randy Friesen Team looks at three suitable homes in the areas of their clients' choice, and examine the differences between new and up-and-coming neighborhoods, and investigate proximity to transit, schools and parks.

In the first episode, clients Daryle and Rosina are looking to move to a closer proximity to Daryle’s work. They want a well-maintained home on a larger lot, along with a nice neighborhood feel, and walking trails for their dog … and Sunshine Hills fit the bill for them.

Sunshine Hills is unique, family-oriented community and it is known for its local attractions, parks, walking trails, and large treed lots.

In South Surrey, clients Kevin and Michelle are considering moving from their older detached home on a larger lot and purchasing a newer home that requires less maintenance, and is located in the same area – Michelle works minutes away.
