A fundraiser in support of the Make-A-Wish Foundation is to take place this weekend at De Dutch Grandview Corners in South Surrey.
The Strawberry Lemonade Stand will include balloons, prizes, colouring and face painting for kids, all set up on the restaurant's patio from Aug. 24-26. Proceeds from the sale of lemonade – both inside the restaurant and at the stand – will go to Make-A-Wish, which grants wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions.
The event will run Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
