The Ocean Park Business Association honored one its longtime members Thursday, awarding Laura Thibeault with the 2012 Business Person of the Year award.
Thibeault, a former preschool teacher, has spent the last 11 years as a real-estate agent with HomeLife Benchmark Realty, and has been working with the business association and Ocean Park Community Association during that time.
Thibeault has served as a volunteer and on a variety of executive boards in her time with the Ocean Park Business Association, helping to co-ordinate events such as Ocean Park Days and The Taste of Ocean Park, among others.
