White Rock’s new sign bylaw – regulating location and repair of signs

It’s official: the City of White Rock has a new sign bylaw.

Council last week gave final reading to legislation regulating the placing, maintenance and repair of signs in the city.

It took effect Jan. 25.

The bylaw received first, second and third reading Jan. 10, and includes provisions for prohibited signs and regulations for new signs not in the previous bylaw – such as sandwich boards – as well as an updated fee schedule.

The bylaw is available in full on the city’s website, www.city.whiterock.bc.ca
