Giving back is something that many do toward the end of the year, as they reflect on the past year and focus on family, the holiday season, and look to the new year ahead.

For A Little Bud owners Randy Tingskou and wife Kayleigh MacAlpine, giving back to the community is something they like to do closer to the start of the year.

That’s why the White Rock cannabis dispensary owners recently donated $12,000 to the White Rock Elks 431.

“This is the second year in a row that A Little Bud have shown such generosity to us at this level and is a testament to the values that Randy and Kaleigh hold in support of charities in the White Rock community,” said White Rock Elks committee head for charity and fundraising Bob O’Keefe.

“(The) funds will be allocated to our charities that support seniors, veterans, youth scholarships, addiction recovery and homelessness.”

A Little Bud currently operates three stores in the province.
