Art contest for children

The office of White Rock-South Surrey-Cloverdale MP Russ Hiebert is hosting a drawing contest for local students in Grade 3 to 6.

Children are invited to draw a favourite place they like to visit in the community or a local landmark for a chance to have it published in Hiebert’s 2014 Member of Parliament calendar.

Drawings need to be submitted by June 28 at Hiebert’s office, 106A-2429 152 St., and should be 8.5 inches wide and 5.5 inches high.

Submissions should include the student’s name, grade and sentence describing the drawing.
