The 2016 Law Enforcement Torch Run passed through White Rock last week.
Held over four days, the run – held annually to raise awareness and funds for Special Olympics BC – joins law enforcement officials with Special Olympics athletes to carry the Flame of Hope across the Lower Mainland.
For the White Rock leg, paced on May 31, Special Olympian Stacey Kohler helped lead the way, starting in White Rock's town centre and following a loop that took runners past the Pacific Avenue RCMP detachment and along Marine Drive to Oxford Street.
