The deadline to nominate a volunteer, business or not-for-profit organization for a Prime Minister’s Volunteer Award is fast-approaching.

Nominations will be accepted until Oct. 14.

The program, created in January “recognize the exceptional contributions of volunteers, local businesses and innovative not-for-profit organizations in improving the well-being of families and their communities,” will present 17 awards in total – two at the national level and 15 at the regional level.
