Members of The Vancouver Rifles (above), a Cold War re-enactment troupe made up of mainly former cadets and reservists, hang around a Centurion tank that was brought to the Cloverdale Legion's open house on June 18.

The British-designed tank – dressed up as an American M1 Abrams for movie work – served with the Australian military in the Vietnam War.

It was recently purchased by Mark Fleming, a member of the Canadian Military Education Centre Museum, and will be parked at the centre's new home at Panther Paintball and Airsoft Sports Park in South Surrey this summer.
