A pair of Second World War veterans – one of them a White Rock resident – discovered last month they have more in common than an impressive set of medals.
Margaret North Mainwaring and Norman Keith also both turn 105 this year.
The pair met Jan. 31. Mainwaring celebrate her milestone on Friday (Feb. 5); Keith, a Tsawwassen resident, will cut his cake in August.
