Earl Marriott Secondary will host its annual powwow celebration April 5.
The community event aims to educate and strengthen relationships while showcasing aboriginal culture.
The weekend-long event will feature activities and performances, as well as dancers, carvers, artisans, weavers, vendors, a silent auction and the traditional salmon barbecue, among other tasty treats.
All are invited to attend the event, sponsored by the school's First Nations Program.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. April 5th at the South Surrey high school, 15751 16 Ave.
