Surrey Museum is inviting families to hop down to its seventh-annual Easter Fair on March 30.
The event – organized in conjunction with the museum and local animal-rescue groups – was first held in 2006 to raise awareness on responsible animal care, after an influx of abandoned holiday pets, including rabbits after Easter.
Now, the event has expanded and will feature a number of rescue animals available for adoption, including real Easter bunnies, dogs, cats, reptiles and rodents.
The fair will also include a scavenger hunt, spring crafts and live entertainment.
The fair kicks off at 1-4 p.m. at the museum, 17710 56A Ave.
