Some things go together.
Like salt and pepper. Or Mickey and Minnie.
How about poetry and motion?
The City of White Rock and Fraser Health are working on a new project entitled Poetry in Motion, which celebrates connecting with culture while getting out and moving and exploring White Rock.
And they want to hear from the city’s residents.
We want to hear from you! Drop by the White Rock Community Centre tomorrow, Feb.3, to participate in a conversation about Poetry & Active Living in the community! They’re encouraging people to drop by the White Rock Community Centre, located at 15154 Russell Ave., on Friday, Feb. 3 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. to participate in an engagement conversation about poetry and active living in the community.
“Come share your favorite walking routes, key stops, and a favorite poem that you connect with,” a post on the city’s website urges residents.
“Maybe it is a local park? Maybe it is a pathway that has great connections to local amenities? We welcome poems from all different countries and cultures!”
Visit the City of White Rock for more information.
