Family history research

The Surrey Museum is hosting a family-history research program Saturday.

Those researching their roots may be interested in a workshop taking place this weekend at the Surrey Museum (17710 56A Ave.).

Saturday's two-hour session – 1-3 p.m. – is to explore such research tools as family interview techniques, what to do with family photographs and what can be uncovered in family papers.

Presenters include Sandra Borger from the Surrey Museum, Ryan Gallagher from the Surrey Archives and Paul MacDonell from the Surrey Library.

To register ($15), call 604-592-6956.
