B.C. Wall and Ceiling Association is holding its second annual family walk on Sunday (June 9), with all proceeds going towards the B.C. Cancer Foundation.
The 4.5 km walk takes place at Campbell Valley Regional Park in South Langley. Registration is at 9:30 a.m., with a pancake breakfast at 10 a.m. and the family walk starting at 11 a.m. A barbecue lunch will be provided after the walk.
The walkers will met at the Old Orchard picnic shelter, at 8 Avenue and 204 Street.
There will be entertainment, a fire truck and safety displays from Langley Township fire department, and face painting by Kandiss Wright of Langley Fine Arts School.
The registration fee is $50 for a family of four or $25 per individual.
