A free festival showcasing recreation and fitness in Newton is to take place June 22.
The 18th-annual Newton Community Festival will also feature vendors, music, dance and food, with activities spread throughout the Newton recreation complex, from the wave pool to the seniors’ centre.
Offered in partnership with Doors Open Surrey – which encourages residents to be tourists in their own city by offering behind-the-scenes looks at Surrey’s culture, history, art and architecture – the festival is set for 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
