A group of Surrey parents are meeting this month in hopes of finding ways to improve French immersion access in the school district.
Several parents who have tried unsuccessfully to enrol their children in French immersion programs the upcoming school year will make suggestions to school trustees on how they believe the system could be improved.
The meeting is planned for May 14, 7 p.m. at the Surrey Centre Library, 103500 University Dr.
Parents with a current or potential interest in French immersion are welcome and a few Surrey Board of Education members will also be in attendance.
