Every week, the Surrey Animal Resource Centre will share an animal up for adoption. Stay tuned to our website on Fridays to hear a new furry friend’s story. Who knows, maybe they’ll be right for you?

“Kato is a three-year-old Pit Bull-Dogo blend that has been keeping a little secret,” says Surrey Animal Resource Centre Manager Shelley Joaquin.

“Kato dreams of being one of Santa’s reindeer! Don’t let his strong, macho look fool you, underneath is a sweet, sensitive boy who loves to be silly and make you smile. Kato loves to spend time in the play yard tossing his toys in the air and frolicking in the fresh air.

“When playtime is over Kato goes straight to work polishing up his reindeer skills. Kato is on a special diet for his sensitive skin but will happily train for his own hypo kibble. Kato is very enthusiastic in all that he does and sometimes forgets his own size and strength so he will need an adult home. Kato would love to meet you and tell you all about his reindeer dream!”
