The Les Papillons Group of the Peace Arch Hospital Auxiliary Society raised more than $800 at a recent garage sale.
The group’s 32 members contributed salable items to the fundraiser, which was held June 4 at a private South Surrey home.
Visitors were also invited to purchase coffee, muffins and cookies.
“We were really pleased,” group leader Beverley Pratt said. “Whatever money we make goes to the hospital, so we can’t complain at all.”
