Participants battle the elements in an obstacle course during the Are You Tougher Than Cancer? event at Bear Creek Park on Nov. 9.
The 5K event was organized by 25toLife, a joint project between SFU students and the Canadian Cancer Society.
Their goal is to raise $27,500 for the society by Dec. 1.
