It was a hole-in-one for the Semiahmoo House Society’s seventh-annual charity golf tournament, raising more than $32,000 for its recreation and leisure program.
In partnership with the Investors Group Financial Services, the Aug. 28 tournament was attended by 140 golfers, who played 18 holes of Texas Scramble at Morgan Creek Golf Course in South Surrey.
The evening included a live and silent auction – which brought in much of the $32,500. Proceeds benefit recreation and leisure opportunities for youth with disabilities.
