Students at White Rock Elementary joined others across the school district signing a “stop bullying” petition Wednesday as part of Anti-Bullying Day.
The annual event – also known as “Pink Shirt Day”– began as a protest against a 2007 bullying incident in Nova Scotia when high school students wore pink shirts to protest the harassment of a fellow pupil for wearing the color.
