Kent Street Activity Centre volunteers enjoyed an afternoon of great food, fabulous entertainment and recognition at a ’60s-themed appreciation lunch on May 26.

We can’t thank our volunteers enough for all they do! Special thanks to local businesses who donated so many wonderful door prizes.

Lots of fun and laughter was had by all.

Drop down to the White Rock Museum &Archives and check out their latest exhibition, Understanding White Rock in the Context of Canada.

Explore the development of White Rock as a Canadian city and discover little-known local stories about several communities present in White Rock over the last 150 years.

Now that the warmer weather is upon us, why not get out and enjoy the outdoors on a group hike?

Transportation is included on these hikes that average four hours and are geared to physically fit adults 55+ years old.

The next easier Pace 1 hike is June 13 and the faster Pace 2 hike is on June 12.

Kent Street Activity Centre invites all cribbage and bid whist players every Thursday, 1-3:15 p.m., in the auditorium.

This friendly social group welcomes new players each week, so don’t be shy drop – on by and check us out.

Newcomers are welcome to a three-visit guest pass before purchasing a White Rock Recreation and Culture membership.
