White Rock Legion and Mackarino’s Kitchen will host a fundraiser next weekend to benefit victims of White Rock’s May 15 fire.

The June 19 event is to feature live entertainment by Two of a Kind, a buffet dinner  for $15, door prizes and more.

Organizers say all those involved are donating their time and products to the cause.

The fire, in the 15200-block of Pacific Avenue, left nearly 100 residents homeless, after it started at an under-construction condominium development and spread to the four-storey Ocean Ridge complex. It has been deemed suspicious.

The June 19 benefit is set for 2-7 p.m. The legion is located at 2290 152 St.
