MAP: Where to find some of the best Christmas light displays in Surrey, Delta

If you’ve got a spectacular light display at your home this winter, we want to see it.

Send us pictures of your National Lampoon-style lit-up homes, nativity scenes or North Pole playlands for a chance to be featured in an online gallery, and be added to this list.

Email the address and at least one photo (bonus points for video) to lauren.collins@surreynowleader.com with “Christmas lights” in the subject line.

We’ve had a few submissions, but we want to see them all! Here’s what you’ve told us about so far:

Surrey:

• 13167 Inverness Pl. – Families will love the sight of this home with beautiful icicle lights lining house peaks. You’ll see some of your favourite inflatable characters including Santa, Frosty, Mickey, Minnie, Olaf, The Child, Minions, Grinch, Elf of the Shelf, penguins, nutcracker, and much more! House is located in a cul-de-sac off of Queen Mary Blvd. (near 90th Ave + 132nd St). Display may go dark during inclement weather to protect inflatables.

• 16468 104 Ave. – The Christmas season is just about here and we are ready to light up our neighborhood with an even larger display with more lights and more lawn decorations. We are having a light-up party outside our house this Saturday Nov. 27 @ 7:45 p.m. with the lights turning on at 8 p.m. sharp.

• 7870 143A St. – Following in their family’s footsteps, the Petersons are following suit with a brightly decorated home.

• 8421 Spenser Pl.

• 17022 62 Ave. – Here is the beautiful Frosty & Friends Christmas light display that has thousands of lights and inflatables, along with music. Lights are on daily until Dec. 31 from 5 to 11 p.m. The family is collecting cash donations for the Surrey Food Bank.

• 19367 62A Ave. – The Wish Upon A Star light display is back this year with all donations going to BC Children’s Hospital. This is their fourth year at this location. There is also a COVID-friendly area for pictures with Santa, as well as hot chocolate every evening and popcorn on the weekends by donation. Online donations can be made at bcchf.ca/wishuponastar. The lights will be on display nightly from Nov. 27 between 4 and 11 p.m until New Years Day at midnight.

• 15175 62A Ave. – This row of townhouses does a fantastic job of lighting up the street every year. Last year, the City of Surrey stopped by with a drone for an aerial shot.

• 15967 19A Ave. – The Totally Sleighed It Christmas light display starts in December, nightly from 4:30 to 10 p.m., with 100 per cent of donations going to Jessie Lee Elementary. Donations are accepted out front of the home or e-transfer to totallysleighedit@gmail.com. Tune your radios to 89.7FM. For more info, visit facebook.com/totallysleighedit/.

• 12728 113B Ave. – This display inlcudes 25-plus blow-up decorations and more than 25 Christmas characters all lit up nightly until the new year.

• 11082 Jay Cres. – Located in the Birdland area in Guildford, this home has more than 17,000 lights that are synced to some favourite Christmas songs. The show starts daily at 5 p.m. and runs every 30 mins until 10 p.m., Sunday through Thursday and until 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Tune your radio to 90.3 FM.
• 14612 106A Ave.
• 15097 90A Ave. – Art & Lou’s Christmas Lights is located at 15097-90A Ave. People are welcome to walk through the yard. It is on display 6-10 p.m. until Jan.1. Santa will be here on Dec. 18 from 6:30-9:30 p.m.. with candy canes and smiles. Bring your camera to capture the fun.
• 2531 168 St. – Not to be outdone by their annual Halloween display, the Nelsons now have their Christmas display up. Pop by and grab a book from the free little library out front too!

• 6528 187A St. – The Medina family has gone all out decorating their Cloverdale home this season.

• 8483 152A St. –This family is hoping their light display with bring some joy to everyone, especially during these difficult times.

• 7245 140A St.

• 15499 22 Ave.

• 7311 194 St.

• 6116 163A St. The lights are synced to music which starts at the top of the Hour for approximately 34 minutes then its static for the remainder of the hour. Donations being accepted on behalf of the Parkinsons Society BC.

• 14080 73 Ave.

• 15349 85A Ave. – The Kelly family display

• 149 Street and 99A Avenue – This house is right at the corner of 149 Street and 99A Avenue, with even more homes on the block joining in.

• 18459 66 Ave. – This festive house is all decked out for the season.

Delta:

• 9136 118 St. – The Gill residence is lit up nightly from 5 to 10 p.m.

• 11423 Heath Cres. – The Bihal residence in Delta is lit up for the season. Here’s a video of the display: youtube.com/watch?v=3eaF0DurKEo

• 11804 91 Ave.

• 10655 Ramona Way – We hope you enjoy our, approximately 22,000, lights and projections of Santa’s workshop, flying sleigh, Marley’s ghost and Scrooge’s door knocker. We are again accepting cash donations to go to the Surrey Food Bank. Look for the mailbox to donate.
