The Surrey branch of the Heart and Stroke Foundation is recruiting teams of 29 riders to participate in the city’s annual Big Bike event.
The event, benefitting research, advocacy and health promotion of heart disease and strokes, will take place May 8 at Guildford Heights Park and May 14 and 21 at King’s Cross Shopping Centre in Newton.
Teams bike a two-km route in their community for the fundraiser, which raised $145,000 in Surrey last year benefitting local research.
