The Self-Advocates of Semiahmoo will host their annual New To You Clothing Sale this weekend.

Set for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 27 at Semiahmoo House Society in South Surrey, the event is a fundraiser for SAS, a group formed by SHS members to support their peers with developmental disabilities and advocate for change through positive relationships.

In addition to offering deals on gently worn men’s and women’s attire – items are all $2 each – the sale is an opportunity to meet SAS members.

Projects initiated by the group so far have included bringing beach-accessible wheelchairs to White Rock’s waterfront, and rallying for improved safety at a 24 Avenue crosswalk.

Saturday’s sale items are to include samples donated by www.SilverIcing.com

For more, visit the SAS Facebook page, www.facebook.com/SelfAdvocateSAS/

Semiahmoo House Society is located at 15306 24 Ave.
