Seniors and their caregivers are invited to a free clinic on the Semiahmoo Peninsula next week aimed at preventing falls.
The Feb. 17 event, presented by Nurse Next Door, is set to take place at 101-1959 152 St. from 6 to 8 p.m., and is open to local families who want to learn about the dangers of falls and how to avoid them.
Participants who are 60 and older can receive a free fall-risk estimate performed by specially trained staff.
