SENIORS SCENE: Cards, excursions on tap at Kent Street Centre

Centre needs a volunteer driver for 23-passenger mini van

The Kent Street Activity Centre is looking for volunteers to drive a 23-passenger mini bus and take seniors on a variety of excursions in the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley.

Drivers will need to have a Class 4 driver’s licence and be available to drive during the daytime. If you have some time to spare, and enjoy meeting new people and checking out some exciting venues, this is a great opportunity. Call 604-541-2199 for more information or drop into the Kent Street Activity Centre to fill out a volunteer application form.

• Are you a card player? Every Thursday afternoon at the Kent Street Activity Centre, cribbage, bid whist and canasta players are invited for an afternoon of fun.
