The Kent Street Players Theatre Group is presenting a Christmas Reader’s Theatre Performance of Scrooge: Then and Now, A Christmas Carol and Frank’s 75th Christmas. • The Kent Street Activity Centre is looking for a cook for its coffee shop. The position is Monday –Friday approximately 25-30 hours a week. • The Kent Street Activity Centre is holding its Annual General Meeting on Monday, Nov. 28 at 2 p.m. Everyone is invited to join the executive as they recap accomplishments and events over the last year. Refreshments will be provided plus a wonderful holiday performance by the Soul of the World Community Choir.
• Kent Street Activity Centre 2023 memberships are on sale now. This membership is in effect until December 31, 2023. Memberships can be purchased at the Kent Street Activity Centre, White Rock Community Centre and Centennial Park Leisure Centre and online at whiterockcity.ca/register. If you purchase online please remember to drop into any Recreation Centre to pick up a new membership card.
• The Kent Street Activity Centre Snooker Club welcomes new members to drop in and join their friendly group. Enjoy unlimited playing time six days a week on four available tables during regular business hours of the Centre.
