Registration for White Rock Recreation and Culture winter 2023 programs is on now.

• The Kent Street Choristers present It’s Christmas – Ready or Not! on Saturday Dec. 10 at 2 p.m. at the Kent Street Activity Centre.
Tickets are only $10 and children 12 and under are $15.
Tickets are available for purchase at the Kent Street Activity Centre or from choir members. Refreshments will be provided.
• The Kent Street Activity Centre is looking for a volunteers to assist in the coffee shop.
Hours vary between Monday – Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Help is needed in preparing meals, cooking, cleaning and front counter service.
Volunteer drivers are also urgently needed to drive a 23-passenger mini bus on a variety of excursions for seniors throughout the lower mainland and Fraser Valley.
Volunteer drivers must have a minimum Class 4 driver’s license.
Drivers enjoy free meals and admissions into a variety of different venues.

• The Kent Street Activity Centre’s annual Mistletoe Lunch will be held on Friday Dec. 16 at 11:30 a.m.
Registration is open to members and non-members of the centre. Call 604-541-2199 to register.
Participants are asked to bring a non-perishable food item for the White Rock/South Surrey Food Bank to support those in need.
• The Kent Street Players Theatre Group is presenting a Christmas Reader’s Theatre performance of Scrooge: Then and Now, A Christmas Carol and Frank’s 75th Christmas.
The performance is on Sunday Dec. 11 at 2 p.m. at the Kent Street Activity Centre.

• Kent Street Activity Centre 2023 memberships are on sale now.
This membership is in effect until Dec. 31, 2023.
Memberships can be purchased at the Kent Street Activity Centre, White Rock Community Centre and Centennial Park Leisure Centre and online at whiterockcity.ca/register.
If you purchase online, please remember to drop into any recreation centre to pick up a new membership card.
• Everyone 55+ is invited to drop into the Kent Street Activity Centre on Wednesday evening to enjoy dancing to live music.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with dancing from 7 – 9:30 p.m.
• On Dec. 7 the Alpiners return and on Dec.14, attendees can dance to the great sounds of Sweet Water.
The last dance before Christmas break will be Patrizia & Don on Dec. 21.
