Do you love to sing in a casual, friendly environment?

Join the Sing Along group at Kent Street Activity Centre every Tuesday from 2-3:30 p.m.

Piano accompaniment and song sheets are provided.

Drop into this fun group three times before paying for a White Rock Recreation and Culture membership.

Have you marked your calendars for the Kent Street Activity Centre annual Plant and Bake Sale?

Doors open at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 28, until 12:30 p.m.

Delicious homemade baking from the Kent Street Kitchen will also be on sale.

The fundraising arm of the centre that is putting on this event is still needing donations of outdoor plants, seedlings, herbs or bulbs that can be dropped off Friday, April 27 from 4-6 p.m. Call 604-541-2231 to contribute.

Kent Street Activity Centre is hosting ‘Lunch with an Author’ on Monday, April 30, 12:45-2 p.m.

Author Rose Scott will be presenting her book entitled Threaten to Undo Us.

The Kent Street dance committee welcomes you to their Wednesday night dance.

Each night a different band is featured playing live music for social dancing. Singles and couples aged 50-plus are welcome.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with dancing from 7-10. Refreshments served midway.

This week’s featured band is the Alpiners.
