• The Kent Street Activity Centre computer club invites new members to drop in on Wednesdays from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Each week, there are different speakers to help members further their knowledge of computers, promote the exchange of ideas and provide learning experiences. • It’s always fun trying something new to spice up your fitness routine. Drop-in spaces are available to attend Zumba Gold or yoga classes. Yoga improves balance, muscle strength and flexibility, while encouraging a feeling of inner peace. Various times available, refer to the Recreation Guide for details, drop-in passes are available from any of our White Rock Recreation offices.

• Have you heard of the latest scam? Due to popular demand we have two dates for this free, interactive seminar, Thursday, March 30 or Wednesday, May 31 from 10 a.m. to noon. You will be provided with information on how to protect yourself from the most current scams, as well as focus on generic examples of different types of fraud and specific things you can do to reduce the chance of becoming a victim. Co-sponsored with White Rock Community Policing, the RCMP and the Semiahmoo Community Safety Society. Pre-registration required, call 604-541-2199.

• Do you love to sing in a casual, friendly environment? Join the Sing Along group at Kent Street Activity Centre every Tuesday from 2-3:30 p.m. Piano accompaniment and song sheets are provided.

• Put into practise different art therapy methods from cultures around the world. Explore yourself with the personalized colour chart of emotions, neurographics, meditation cards and more.
